Hello — I’m Eliot, and I write and check the guides on this site: how covers fit, how a fabric behaves after a few washes, and what actually looks right on a real Australian living room couch rather than in a styled photo.

Most of what I write starts with a question someone has already asked us. Will this fit a 3 seater lounge? Will the chaise cover stay tucked in? Why does one range call 190 cm large and another call it medium? I answer those the way I’d answer a friend who rang me about it: measure first, then choose.

Before anything goes live I check the numbers against the [size guide](/pages/size-guide), read the care label for the fabric I’m describing, and match what I’m claiming to the supplier’s own specification. If I can’t confirm something, I leave it out, or I say plainly that it depends on your furniture. A cover that turns up in the wrong size is a wasted week for you and a return for us, so I’d rather be careful than confident.

You’ll find my guides on the [blog](/blogs/sofa-cover-ideas), and the ranges I write about most are the [couch covers](/collections/couch-covers) and the [throw blankets](/collections/throw-blanket). If something I’ve written doesn’t match what you’re looking at in your own living room, [tell us](/pages/contact-us) — that’s usually how a guide gets better.
