Matthieu
I write and check the guides on Casamé Home: how covers fit, how a fabric behaves after a few washes, and what actually looks right on a real Australian living-room couch rather than in a styled photo.
Most guides start with a question a customer has already asked us. I answer it the way I'd answer a friend who rang me about it: measure first, then choose.
Checked against the size guide
A cover that turns up in the wrong size is a wasted week, so every cm range comes from the guide, not from memory.
Care labels, not guesses
Wash temperatures and drying advice are taken from the label of the fabric, never generalised.
Tested on real sofas
Fit and stretch are judged on ordinary Australian couches, with loose cushions, rolled arms and pets.
Honest about gaps
When something depends on your furniture, the guide says so instead of promising.
What I check before a guide goes live
Measurements against the size guide. The care label of the exact fabric. The supplier specification for stretch and coverage. And whether the advice still holds on a couch that has a dog on it.
